Nuremberg, Germany - A passenger's intoxicated state led to an unexpected delay on a flight to Mallorca. On May 19, 2025, a 35-year-old man was prevented from boarding a plane due to his heavily inebriated state.

Despite the man's objections, the pilot decided to bar him from boarding for reasons of safety and security. When the man resisted authorities, the police were called to the scene. They handcuffed him, but he pushfully resisted and pushed a policewoman against the cabin wall. Fortunately, the officer did not suffer any injuries.

The police took the man to the station, where a blood sample was taken and he was subsequently placed in a detention cell. An investigation has been initiated against him for resisting law enforcement.
