Volkswagen is set to launch a new health check-up program aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of its employees. The initiative, known as Health Check-up 2.0, is part of the company's commitment to prioritising employee health and wellness.

The program, which is scheduled to start in the second half of the year, subject to cooperation with technology, will provide regular feedback and assistance to employees. It will go beyond traditional telemedicine and smartwatch diagnostics, although the specific technology to be used remains undisclosed.

Volkswagen's Health Check-up 2.0 is designed to fill a gap, particularly in rural areas, due to its close relationship with employees. The program will offer individual recommendations, including advice on exercise and diet, and aims to not only detect but also prevent illnesses.

The program will also focus on promoting healthy eating, though employee opinions on this aspect are not yet specified. Volkswagen's head of health and occupational safety, Lars Nachbar, discussed the new program with the "Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung" (WAZ).

The company has already conducted over 200,000 check-ups and plans to expand the program further. Volkswagen will incorporate findings from its work on sleep, well-being, and movement into the new health check-up.

It is important to note that the Health Check-up 2.0 is not related to the Kia EV6 GT-line electric crossover test drive offer. For precise information on Volkswagen's Health Check-up 2.0 for employees, it is recommended to check Volkswagen’s official corporate or HR communications or contact their employee health services directly.

While the specifics of the Health Check-up 2.0 remain to be seen, it is clear that Volkswagen is making a concerted effort to address the "entire life reality" of its employees, reflecting the state of their health and actively helping to change it for the better.
