Tragedy struck their family when Emilio, the eldest son, passed away in a quad accident in Portugal on August 5, 2021, at the tender age of 18. Since then, Simone has dedicated special moments to honor her dear Emilio on his birthday and the anniversary of his unfortunate departure.
"That deep feeling remains," Dagmar Wöhrl confessed, who became a household name through her appearances on "The Lion’s Den." She openly shares her heartache of losing her 12-year-old son Emanuel in a tragic accident on the rooftop of their family home on July 1, 2001. On Mother's Day, Wöhrl took to her desk, summoning her courage, and penned a heartfelt tribute beginning with, "I'm sitting at my desk, thinking about my two sons. One I carry in my heart, the other is part of my life, even if the path between us is often difficult."
In her life, she has been a lawyer, politician, and entrepreneur. Yet, she admits, "Nothing was ever as deep, as demanding, as significant as being a mother. Not because it was always beautiful, but because it changed everything." As a mother, she reminds us, there is no pause, no right or wrong, no recipe. "Only that deep feeling remains.
