Solingen Hospital's Children's Clinic Unveils New 30,000 Euro Ultrasound Machine
Solingen Hospital's children's clinic has welcomed a new, state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, replacing its outdated predecessor. The total cost exceeded 30,000 euros, with significant support from the Langenfeld Children's Heart Aid, contributing around 14,000 euros. The Lions Club Solingen-Gräfrath also played a crucial role, providing approximately the same amount.
The new ultrasound machine brings enhanced diagnostic capabilities to the hospital. It offers superior image quality, with very fine resolution and excellent probe scanning. This allows doctors to examine children from premature babies to adolescents, detecting various diseases, blood vessel issues, and developmental problems. Notably, it can help identify hip dysplasia in newborns and infants.
