The Fürth Police is inviting the public to an open day on September 21, 2025, at Kapellenstraße 10, 90762 Fürth, from 10:00 to 17:00. This special event is being held to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Fürth Town Hall Tower.
Visitors can expect an engaging and informative day, filled with various demonstrations and displays. The police vehicles on display will include helicopters, boats, motorcycles, and patrol cars. The mounted police unit will also be present, showcasing their skills.
Demonstrations by the support command and the police dog unit will take place on the action field, offering a glimpse into the everyday operations of the police force. The criminal police will have a mock crime scene where visitors can see live how evidence is secured.
For those interested, there will be an opportunity to visit the detention cells and the shooting range. Please note that the children's program, including police puppet theater and magician, is specifically designed for the youngest police fans.
The Fürth Police also offers a free bicycle registration service. To register a bicycle, a proof of ownership (receipt or contract) and an official ID document are required.
Information stands and exhibitions on various topics will be available throughout the area, and officers will be on hand to answer questions.
