PM Modi celebrates his birthday with the "Namo Amrit Maha Arogya Camp" organized by the RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center in Gujarat
In the constituency of Honorable MP Shri Dinesh Makwana, a significant event was recently organised by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, the President of the Guinness World Record-holder RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center and Doctor 365. The event, named the "Namo Amrit Maha Arogya Camp", took place at Kamal Ground, Sarvodaya Nagar, Gujarat Housing, Khokhra, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, and provided free medical services to 75,000 patients.
Dr. Kumar's organisation has been at the forefront of charitable initiatives for over two decades, reaching out to millions of people in need. Through their services, over 60 million people have benefited, with over 12 million TB tests conducted and over 117,000 TB patients provided with complete treatment and nutrition kits.
The RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center is renowned for its extensive work in HIV AIDS awareness, prevention, treatment, TB control, cancer screening, and mobile medical care. They have conducted over 20 million HIV awareness sessions and over 10 million general medical checkups.
The camp offered a wide range of services, including free health checkups, free medicines, free eye checkups and spectacles, free wheelchairs, and free health card distribution. Over 1,700 wheelchairs, nutrition kits worth 75,000, and 25,000 spectacles were distributed during the event.
The organization's commitment to the community is evident in the over 3.4 million wheelchairs they have distributed completely free of charge, and the over 15 million spectacles provided to the needy. They have also successfully organised over 33,000 medical camps across India, reaching out to various states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
Dr. Kumar's work extends beyond HIV AIDS and TB, with the organization diagnosing and treating over 780,000 anemia and sickle cell patients, and conducting over 420,000 cervical cancer screenings and treatments.
The RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center has earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records and the Asia Book of Records for organising the largest free medical camps. Their efforts in providing life-saving medicines worth over ₹1,500 crore free of cost have undoubtedly made a significant impact on the health of millions of people across India.
