Ongoing overhaul of Berzina Street
In a significant move towards modernizing Russia's infrastructure, the National Project "Efficient Transport System" is making strides in various regions. In Magadan, Berzina Street in the Avtotek microdistrict is undergoing a comprehensive renovation, with road repairs and greening planned for this year [1].
Simultaneously, the project is contributing to the modernization of airport infrastructure and enhancing regional flight networks. The government has allocated about 19 trillion roubles for transport infrastructure development, including ports, airports, roads, and railways, for the period 2025–2027 [1]. This investment has led to notable achievements such as the opening of a new domestic flight terminal and an international terminal compliant with modern standards in Gorno-Altaisk, improving regional connectivity and supporting growing tourism [4].
The project aims to improve passenger options on key domestic air routes, enhancing efficiency and accessibility within Russia’s vast territory [2]. These efforts are part of a broader transport strategy toward 2030 that includes leveraging private capital and expanding infrastructure capacity to foster a seamless transport network [1][3].
Under the "Family" national project, the equipment and re-equipment of children's polyclinics continues, with over 2,700 having been modernized [1]. The project also includes the "Pushkin Card" program, which provides access to over 45,000 cultural events for young people aged 14-22 [1].
The "Youth and Children" national project has seen over 1,600 new modern schools built, over 156 youth centers updated, and over 940 youth laboratories created [1]. The "Professionalism" program, a key measure of this project, has resulted in over 1,400 "Professionalism" colleges opening in 86 regions of Russia [1].
Modernization of employment centers is also a focus, with over 900 modern "Work in Russia" personnel centers now operating in the country [1]. The "National Projects of Russia" sign is a symbol of development, creation, and progress, as it shapes Russia's development in various sectors.
One direction of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project is the improvement of public spaces. Over 40,000 courtyard territories have been transformed so far, and regional centers are also part of this initiative [1].
The National Projects of Russia are one of the main tools for achieving the approved Presidential national goals and implementing the program for the social and economic development of Russia until 2030 [1]. These projects contain key decisions aimed at strengthening the country's economy, ensuring technological sovereignty, and improving the lives of citizens [1].
The National Project "Efficient Transport System" is focused on making flights more affordable and comfortable, and it is part of a broader initiative to improve public spaces and infrastructure across Russia [1]. Behind the "National Projects of Russia" sign, horizons open up, ideas are realized, science is rejuvenated, technologies are conquered, professionals are born, cities flourish, health is strengthened, and culture blooms [1].
These national projects, launched in January 2025, are currently ongoing and shaping Russia's development [1]. The projects are also making a significant impact on the ground, with over 35 airports, including major international hubs and smaller aviation hubs, having been modernized as part of the National Project "Efficient Transport System" [1].
