Kazakhstan's 448 Centenarians Lead by 115-Year-Old Resident

Kazakhstan celebrates the International Day of Older Persons with remarkable figures. The country boasts 448 centenarians, with the oldest known resident being 115 years old.

Almaty leads with the highest number of centenarians, totaling 58 individuals aged 100 and above. The Almaty region follows with 37 centenarians. Notably, the Turkestan region has the second-largest number of centenarians, with 53 people.

The Zhambyl region is home to a remarkable centenarian, aged 110 years. Meanwhile, the Pavlodar region has a resident who has reached the age of 113. However, the title of the oldest Kazakhstani goes to a resident of the Ulytau region, who is 115 years old. This makes them the oldest known living person in the country, with no verifiable record of anyone older from other regions.

Kazakhstan's centenarian population stands at 448, with each region celebrating its own remarkable individuals. As the world marks the International Day of Older Persons, these figures serve as a testament to the country's rich history and cultural heritage.
