On September 12, two separate incidents of single-vehicle accidents occurred in Bochum, Germany, according to reports from Police Bochum.

The first incident took place at around 4 p.m. on Lewackerstraße in Bochum-Linden. A 40-year-old man from Hattingen lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road, crashing onto the sidewalk at house number 267. A breathalyzer test conducted on the man showed a reading of 2.52% BAC. Both the man and the boy, who were not identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

In the second incident, which occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Sommerfeldstraße in Bochum-Wattenscheid, a 16-year-old boy from Bochum collided with a parked car at house number 108. A breathalyzer test conducted on the boy showed a reading of 2.62% BAC. The boy was also taken to the hospital, and a doctor took a blood sample for further analysis.

The Traffic Commission has initiated investigations into both incidents. However, the search results do not provide the name of the police officer who is leading the investigations.
