Infectious Disease Outbreak: Medicine Packages Top the List as Most Sought-After New Year Presents

In an interesting twist, health, sanitation, hygiene, aseptic, and antibacterial products have become a trendy choice for New Year's gifts this year, according to Nicholas Koro, a member of the Marketing Guild Council. This shift in gifting preferences could be attributed to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has heightened public awareness and concern regarding infection prevention and personal hygiene.

Koro noted that items such as wipes, sprays, and various aseptic and antibacterial products are being received as gifts this holiday season. This trend aligns with the growing demand for pharmaceutical products and septic agents as gifts, as well as the increasing popularity of water ionizers, considered by medical professionals as one of the best presents.

While books have consistently topped both children's wishes and adults' gift considerations for the third year in a row, the demand for bright, fairy-tale, engaging books remains high this year. Interestingly, men are more accepting of not receiving gifts this year, with many expressing a preference for quality alcohol or gadgets. On the other hand, women continue to favour jewelry, clothing, and high-end household appliances as gifts.

Approximately 20% of people do not plan to spend money on gifts for friends, colleagues, or family members this year. Despite this, the trend of gifting health and hygiene products appears to be a heartfelt way to express care, safety, and well-being during these challenging times.

This news was reported by NEWS.ru, highlighting the evolving nature of gifting trends in the face of global health crises. As we move forward, it will be interesting to see how these trends continue to shape the way we express our affection and appreciation to one another.

Science and health-and-wellness products, including antibacterial wipes, sprays, and water ionizers, have gained popularity this holiday season as a trendy choice for New Year's gifts. This shift towards gifting health-related items could be an attempt to express care, safety, and well-being amidst the ongoing global health crisis.
