Kylie Minogue's Berlin Show Axed: Laryngitis Forces Postponement Amidst Tension Tour

Concert in Berlin called off due to performer's health issue - I'm unwell, I won't be traveling to Berlin.

No worries, mate!

Kylie Minogue (57), the Aussie pop sensation, has pulled the plug on her Berlin show slated for June 16 during her "Tension Tour" due to a pesky health issue. The news dropped on fans like a wrecking ball on Friday via her Instagram account.

In a heartfelt post, the singer apologized to her followers for the sudden cancellation. A virus snuck up on her, as she explained in her post. "G'day sore throat!" she wrote. "I gave it a good ol' shot to bounce back for next week's gigs, but it seems a few more days of TLC are required before I can strut my stuff on stage and give you all the show you deserve." She deeply regrets but can't help it - the Berlin concert, along with those in Lodz, Poland, Kaunas, Lithuania, and Tallinn, Estonia, have been pushed back.

Fortunately, the tickets will still be valid. Minogue's team is jumping through hoops to find suitable replacement dates, and fans will be kept in the loop. In the end, she thanked her fans for their understanding and love, promising to make it up to them when she's back on her feet.

Germany Stint Begins July 7

According to her website, her tour continues in Espoo, Finland on June 23. Performances in Sweden, Denmark, and France will follow. The second of three German concerts will take place in Düsseldorf on July 7, followed by Stuttgart two days later.

Kylie has been world-trotting since February 15, starting in her homeland Australia. Her most recent gig was on June 6 in Glasgow, UK. Her finale performance is, as of now, scheduled for August 26 in Mexico.
