HPI Appoints Prof. Katarina Braune to Boost Digital Health Fight
The Hasso-Plattner-Institut (HPI) has appointed Prof. Katarina Braune to its professorship, bolstering the institute's academic prowess. Prof. Braune's appointment, effective October 1, 2025, is part of the HPI's expansion of its Digital Health Cluster with another professorship. Her personal experience with type 1 diabetes since childhood and engagement with the international diabetes online community further enrich her approach.
