Heidelberg University's 'Aging - A Lifetime' Image Contest Now Open

Heidelberg University's Network on Aging Research (NAR) is hosting an image competition titled 'Aging - A Lifetime'. The contest, supported by the BrainAid foundation, invites participants to submit one self-created image, excluding AI-generated content and previously awarded work. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2025.

The competition aims to gather personal perspectives and visions of life as an older adult, focusing on the multifaceted aspects of aging. A jury of scientists will review all submissions and select images for an exhibition within the Network on Aging Research, which brings together interdisciplinary researchers from various fields to study aging. The top three images will be awarded €500, €200, and €100 respectively.

The 'Aging - A Lifetime' competition offers a platform for participants to share their unique interpretations of aging. The selected images will be exhibited, with the top three winners receiving cash prizes. Submissions are open until September 30, 2025.
