German Universities Invited to Apply for €10M Else Kröner Excellence Grants 2025
German universities are invited to apply for funding from the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung by June 2025. The 'Else Kröner Excellence Grants 2025' program aims to support exceptional scientists, including those from the USA. Notable institutions like the University of Cologne and University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) have previously benefited from such funding.
The foundation offers flexible funding that can be used to establish a professorship, which can be made permanent after six years. This year, the foundation provides ten million euros to German universities. A new program is also launching to attract top medical researchers from the USA to Germany.
Universities can submit an informal application sketch by June 15, 2025. The selection process is multi-stage and confidential. Inquiries and applications should be directed to Prof. Dr. Michael Madeja at [email protected]. The non-profit foundation has funded around 2,600 projects with an annual funding volume of over 70 million euros.
The Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung continues its commitment to supporting medical research and humanitarian projects with the 'Else Kröner Excellence Grants 2025' program. German universities are encouraged to apply for this significant funding opportunity.
