Helping Hands for Almaty's Families in Distress
According to Almaty.TV, the city's hotline "Emergency Service 111" has received a total of 114 calls since its establishment, addressing various issues such as public safety, social assistance, and family problems. Specifically, six cases concerning adult psychological and social well-being, and three cases involving child abuse and neglect, have been addressed.
Held by the AGF of the "Nur Otan" party, a meeting was organized to reinforce collaboration between state bodies and the Public Council, with the goal of offering assistance to those facing difficult circumstances. Members of Education, Public Health, and Social Welfare departments, as well as the Public Council for the Protection of Women's and Children's Rights, were present to discuss strategies to address the aforementioned cases.
The event stressed the importance of strengthening interactions between government entities and the Public Council in a mission to help those struggling. The hotline "Emergency Service 111" is based at the Almaty City branch of the party under the Council on Family Affairs, Women, and Children's Rights. All calls receive follow-ups, ensuring constant communication with the Internal Affairs Department.
