Fire-resistant health trail to remain open during high fire risk period in Ulan-Ude

In the heart of the picturesque town of Verkhne-Berezovka, work is underway on an ambitious project: the construction of a 21 km health trail. This trail, designed to promote wellness and outdoor activities, is being built with particular attention to the use of natural, eco-friendly, and durable materials during construction, as reported by "Baikal-Daily."

Accessibility is a key focus of the project. Wide pedestrian paths (at least 2 meters) will be arranged, surfaced with materials like compacted gravel or asphalt to accommodate various users, including those with mobility aids. The trails will have a gentle slope to ensure accessibility for everyone, with the maximum slope recommended for accessible trails being 5% over long distances.

Tactile information boards and QR codes with accessible geolocation information will be provided for ease of navigation. A special section for families with children and people with disabilities is part of the project, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the trail's benefits.

Small architectural forms are being installed along the trail, providing rest and meditation spots. Shelters from bad weather and canopies will also be installed, ensuring the trail remains accessible during the fire season. Backrest-equipped benches will be along the entire route of the trail, offering comfortable resting spots for trail-goers.

The trail is being built with a grant for the development of tourist routes in the Far Eastern Federal District. An active tourist track is also included in the project, making it a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Entrance groups to the trail will have lighting and CCTV systems for safety and security.

The trail is part of a complex of five routes of varying difficulty and length. As reported by "Baikal-Daily," Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, Anton Basansky, inspected this health trail in mid-June. First Deputy Mayor of Ulan-Ude, Sergei Gashayev, announced the trail construction on social media, generating excitement among locals and tourists alike.

Construction is proceeding according to schedule, marking an exciting step forward for Verkhne-Berezovka and its commitment to promoting health, wellness, and outdoor activities. For more specific details about the Verkhne-Berezovka trail, local construction or tourism websites might provide more accurate information.

The health trail under construction in Verkhne-Berezovka, particularly designed for wellness and outdoor activities, will also cater to the scientific aspect of fitness-and-exercise, as tactile information boards and QR codes with accessible geolocation information are installed for ease of navigation. Moreover, the trail emphasizes health-and-wellness in its special section for families with children and people with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity in its promotion of wellness activities.
