FDA Warns: HelloFresh Meals Recalled Due to Listeria Risk
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a health warning regarding HelloFresh meals due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. HelloFresh has subsequently recalled the affected products.
The contamination was discovered when riced cauliflower used in the meals tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled HelloFresh meals include Cheesy Pulled Pork Pepper Pasta and Unstuffed Peppers with Ground Turkey, both containing spinach. Additionally, the FDA warns against consuming Marley Spoon's BBQ Sauce Beef Meatballs with Cheesy Cauliflower. No adverse reactions have been reported from consuming these meals, but health officials urge customers to discard them immediately.
HelloFresh and Marley Spoon customers are advised to check their recent orders for the affected meals. If found, they should be thrown away or returned to HelloFresh for a refund. Consumers with questions may contact HelloFresh's customer care line.
