Encouragement of Mammography Screenings for Women of All Age Groups at Partnered Medical Facilities by the BDMS Foundation
Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS) is taking a significant step in the fight against breast cancer with the launch of its "CHECK to PROTECT" campaign on September 16, 2025. The campaign features the BDMS Breast Cancer Screening Package, offered at a special price of THB 2,900.
Breast cancer is a major public health concern globally, with approximately 2.3 million new cases each year and around 685,000 deaths annually. In Thailand, breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer among Thai women, with over 20,000 to 22,000 new cases annually and more than 4,800 deaths each year. Early detection and timely treatment significantly increase the chances of a full recovery from breast cancer.
The BDMS Breast Cancer Screening Package is ideal for women aged 40 and above and serves as a preliminary step in prevention, care, and treatment planning under medical guidance. The screening will be available at BDMS network hospitals, including Bangkok Hospital Group, Samitivej Hospital Group, BNH Hospital, Phyathai Hospital Group, and Paolo Hospital Group.
The screening package includes a consultation with a specialist and diagnostic imaging using Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. Regular self-examination is highly recommended for breast cancer prevention, and any abnormalities should prompt immediate consultation with a physician.
Screening procedures may vary by hospital within the BDMS network. The screening can be redeemed for screening until November 15, 2025, at BDMS network hospitals. For more information about the BDMS Breast Cancer Screening Package, please contact any hospital in the BDMS network before October 31, 2025.
BDMS is inviting women of all ages to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health and preventing breast cancer. The campaign runs from September 16 to October 31, 2025.
The leader of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited who initiated the "CHECK to PROTECT" campaign is Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara, CEO of BDMS. The World Health Organization observes World Breast Cancer Day annually on October 7. Early detection of breast cancer significantly improves treatment outcomes.
Women aged 40 and above are encouraged to undergo regular risk screening for breast cancer. Regular screenings can help detect breast cancer at an early stage, increasing the chances of successful treatment and recovery.
By taking advantage of the BDMS Breast Cancer Screening Package, women can take an important step in protecting their health and potentially saving lives. The "CHECK to PROTECT" campaign is a testament to BDMS's commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare solutions for all.
