New Social Fund Center to Open in Biysk, Russia
Biysk, a city in Russia, is set to welcome a new flagship client service center for the Social Fund. Scheduled to open on September 1, this center will be dedicated to enhancing service delivery for social insurance, pension, and welfare-related matters.
Located in Biysk, the center aims to streamline social fund services, making them more accessible and efficient for the public. The facility will be equipped with modern technology and customer service infrastructure to improve efficiency and user experience. It will offer a variety of client services, including pension consultations, social security benefits processing, and other social insurance services.
The center has been designed to be accessible and user-friendly for residents in Biysk and surrounding areas. The operating hours will be from Monday through Thursday, 8:00 to 17:00, and Friday, 8:00 to 16:00. For those unable to visit in person, the Social Fund of Russia's Altai branch has a free hotline at 8 800 100 0001 for citizen interaction.
Meanwhile, the Social Fund of Russia's Altai branch has been providing additional paid leave days for parents of children with disabilities. Starting from 2025, they have reimbursed employers for the payment of 10,335 additional leave days, amounting to over 37 million rubles. This year, 277 insurers have utilized an electronic system to submit requests for reimbursement of expenses for these leave days, paying for 6,868 additional leave days, amounting to over 25 million rubles.
Parents (guardians, custodians) working under an employment contract and caring for a child with a disability are entitled to four additional paid leave days per month. However, these leave days are not provided during annual leave, unpaid leave, or leave to care for a child under three years old. The employer covers the cost of these additional paid leave days from their own funds.
Olga Klinkudhova, head of the Social Fund of Russia's Altai branch, provided this information, which was reported by the press service of the Social Fund of Russia's Altai branch. For more precise or updated details such as the exact address or opening date, checking official local government or Social Fund announcements is recommended.
The Social Fund of Russia's Altai branch not only offers services related to social insurance, pension, and welfare-related matters through the new center in Biysk, but also extends support to family health and parenting. For instance, they provide additional paid leave days for parents of children with disabilities to ensure a healthier family-health balance, thus contributing significantly to health-and-wellness.
