Construction initiation underway for medical facility in Novotyarsk
In Novotitarovskaya stanitsa, a new polyclinic is nearing completion. On May 28, the Deputy Governor of Kuban, Anna Minnikova, and the First Deputy Prosecutor of Krasnodar Krai, Alexander Trukhin, inspected the construction site.
The four-story medical facility, spanning approximately 10,000 square meters, is set to include specialists' and therapists' cabins, an endoscopy department, X-ray, mammography, and fluorography rooms, and multiple ultrasound devices. This facility will serve both adults and children, catering to up to 600 patients per shift.
Minnikova reported that the construction is currently at 83% completion and will house diagnostic and treatment rooms, as well as install heavy medical equipment, endoscopy apparatus, and lab analyzers. However, she emphasized the need to address staffing issues before the facility opens. The medical staff is set to increase from 89 to 120 specialists.
To accommodate the influx of patients, the construction of an access road to the new social facility is also underway. Minnikova underlined the local residents' eagerness for the polyclinic's completion and encouraged the contractor to increase the work pace to meet the deadline.
The Deputy Governor also visited the office of the Family and Children Affairs (FAP) in the Southern village, which was commissioned at the end of last year and already providing primary care. Several specialists will be added to provide a full range of services.
