Bubeck Practices Rescue 75 Disabled Patients in Markgröningen

A medical crisis in Markgröningen has been resolved. For nine months, 75 severely disabled patients lacked a general practitioner. Media reports prompted Bubeck practices in Vaihingen/Enz to step in and provide patient care.

The patients, clients of integration service provider Habila, often had complex needs, including multiple disabilities and communication barriers. They relied heavily on medication, aids, and regular blood tests. A doctor from Neckarsulm issued prescriptions, but emergency services were frequently used for treatments.

Bubeck practices, driven by ethical considerations and social responsibility, agreed to take over medical care. They now support 75 people in Markgröningen. Habila's area manager, Thomas Jaskolka, expressed relief but urged municipalities and the district to plan for future care needs. Arzu Aksoy, Habila's site manager, had struggled to find a new GP. Claudia Lychacz, a municipal representative, noted that similar issues persist in other areas.

Bubeck practices have begun caring for 75 disabled patients in Markgröningen, ending a nine-month gap in medical care. While relief is felt, planning for future care needs is now crucial, as other affected people remain without care.
