Authorities Implicated in Involvement with the Commission
The city of Detmold is hosting a Senior Citizen Information Meeting on Saturday, August 30th. This event, which takes place monthly at Paulinenstraße 65, is an opportunity for senior citizens to engage in personal exchange and learn about new projects and initiatives designed for their community.
The meeting, which starts at 2 PM, will be held at Bentrup-Loßbruch, at bakery Wester's Backfuchs, Am Plass 2. Mayor Frank Hilker will present the results of the current senior citizen survey, and attendees will have the chance to meet members of the Senior Citizen Council and employees of the senior citizen work of the city portal.
Ingrid Dannhauser, a participant at the meeting, will discuss the work of the Senior Citizen Council and the offers of the Senior Citizen Café. Local mayor Roman Post will also be in attendance.
Senior citizens are an active and vital part of the community in Detmold, contributing significantly to the social life in the city. They are also actively involved in clubs and neighborhoods across the city. The needs and suggestions of senior citizens play a significant role in urban development in Detmold.
In recognition of this, a new pick-up and drop-off zone in the city center is being established to facilitate the participation of the elderly in city life.
The event is expected to end around 4 PM at the community center "Alte Schule". A small tour of Bentrup-Loßbruch is planned at 3:15 PM. There will also be an opportunity for questions and suggestions after the presentation.
Senior citizens in Detmold also appreciate offers in the city center of Detmold, and the meeting is a chance for them to learn more about what the city has to offer.
The Senior Citizen Information Meeting occurs every second Thursday of the month from 11 AM to 1 PM, but this special edition on August 30th promises to be a particularly informative and engaging event for senior citizens in Detmold.
