A Tearful Confession: Sinitta's Struggles with Miscarriage and Adoption

Sinitta, once a luminous 80s icon, has bared her soul about the darkest moments that almost made her retreat from the world, and how her adopted children reignited her will to live.

Tied the knot with Andy Wilner in 2002, Sinitta and her husband adopted Magdalena and Zac in 2007 after a harrowing trail of misfortune marked with four miscarriages and three failed IVF attempts.

Recalling those trying times, Sinitta shared with The Mirror: "It was hard to breathe. I wanted to curl up in a ball and shut the world out - perhaps it's only natural those thoughts come back to haunt you, later. The day I adopted my kids, I had a reason to live."

British reservations aside, Sinitta bravely embraced the need to discuss mental health, establishing that we don't all live perfect lives.

Reminiscing about the day she welcomed Magdalena and Zac into her home, Sinitta described the moment as "strange" and "surreal."

Recently, Magdalena was spotted snapping a selfie with TV presenter Piers Morgan at an Arsenal match, epitomizing the escalation of her journey.

Daughter to music royalty, Magdalena flaunted a chic trench coat and cut an elegant figure in the snapshot, much like her mother who catapulted into stardom with the 1986 hit single "So Macho."

Sinitta's rise to fame continued with a plethora of chart-topping tunes for Simon Cowell's record label, eventually joining him as a judge on the debut season of The X Factor in 2004.

Her resume extended to a variety of West End shows, with "So Macho" reaching number two in the UK charts and spending seven weeks in the top 10. In 1987, "Top Boy" climbed to number four and remained in the top 20 for eight weeks.

Dating little-known actor Brad Pitt in the 80s was among Sinitta's many escapades, but their relationship couldn't withstand her party-loving lifestyle. Sinitta shared in Maxim magazine that "I was too wild for him!"

Sinitta's success continued with hits like "Cross My Broken Heart," "Right Back Where We Started From," and "Love On A Mountain Top" in the 90s. She released three solo albums - "Sinitta!," "Wicked," and "Naughty Naughty" - throughout the 80s and 90s.

Sinitta reunited with Simon for the opening season of The X Factor, discovering Steve Brookstein as one of her final three acts for the live show. She also picked Leona Lewis for Simon in the third season and advised him to choose One Direction during the Judges' Houses stage in 2010.

Since the 2000s, Sinitta has been a recurring presence on Loose Women and performed at various gigs. She even claimed to have "revamped" The Xtra Factor when she returned in 2016.
